Structural BIM

(BIM) helps structural engineers optimize designs, improve collaboration, and deliver projects faster. Using BIM, structural engineers can make more informed design decisions, automate construction documentation, and produce more constructible designs.

Structural Steel
The structural steel modelling allows for rapid prototyping and checking the design during the modelling time and it has reduced the shop down and time and project completion time by a signifiacnt amount.
Concrete and rebar

BIM is now leveraged for accurate, detailed and constructible parametric modeling for component-oriented concrete design and plan. We can now enhance Dynamic Rebar detailing & shop drawings and create data rich rebar objects for incorporation.

Precast BIM

BIM enables simple and rapid planning of complex precast parts with shop drawing technology. It automatically generates reports, checks for collisions and calculates numbers of parts, concrete volumes and steel weight.

Structural BIM coordination

BIM coordination services to our valued clients. Our BIM coordination services are built for architects, contractors, engineers, construction project managers, and sub-contractors for construction and engineering projects.

Case Study- Metro Rail Project

The metro rail platform had a slope, the canopies and bipods were fixed along the vertical side of platform . The top of all canopies has to be in same elevation.
The 2D design drawings were not sufficient to pour the concrete and make sure the canopy base locations along the slope determined before starting the concrete work.
Modelling of concrete platform and canopies early in the project helped concrete contractor make necessary adjustments to hold the canopy bases and resolve conflicts with other ducting work.

BIM Benefits

Having consistent , clash proof models through out the construction helps reduce the unexpected delays and which in turn reduces total expenditure on the project. Having the models allows each trade to check in with each other make sure they are well coordinated with others on the job.

BIM can help construction firms improve efficiency in projects and reduces the cost of waste during construction. Its benefits include speeding up job completion time, reducing the number of errors made, and saving costs by identifying areas to use prefabricated materials. By ensuring everyone has  access to the same detailed models BIM cuts down on time spent request response loop between various trades there by saving time.

Having centralized BIM models improves the transparency and accountability by knowing each others work .  BIM management software delivers the ability to provide notifications to team members of any changes, reducing the communication gaps.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) creates a data-rich d model structure,  specifications, quantities, physical characteristics and material attributes of everything used in the construction. Virtual construction using BIM helps the firms in getting a realistic estimate and identifying material procurement and constructability issues.

Increased accessibility and visibility of the BIM  sets in an accountability/traceability model for the project which results in effective change management and conflict resolution. The BIM models can record the changes are track revisions effectively than earlier 2D models and chnage management software .

BIM is effective even after the construction phase , it helps with facilities management as long as the project implementation team followed the procedures of change management and updated the model with every minute changes.
